Design of Modular Multipurpose Urban Equipment in Park Environment

The thesis describes the process of designing a range of products for equipping public spaces. Ergonomic analysis has been applied in the preparation of the diploma thesis, in order to determine the possibilities and needs of the user to be as comfortable and practical as possible, taking into account the prescribed standards of use and safety with this type of products.

Modeling and visualization of public space equipment was performed using SolidWorks and KeyShot software packages. The 3D modeling was done by SolidWorks and afterwards photo-realistic renders were made from the models in the KeyShot software.

The main advantage and purpose of designing such products is to facilitate the manufacturing process and to use materials with a minimalist approach for economical performance reasons, yet innovative, stylish and fully functional.
